The story of content marketing began early in the 18th century when John Deere launched the first ever customer magazine known as the furrow. Although the cave man started it all way back in the stone age with cave paintings it was Mr. Deere that got a 1.5 million subscriptions in over 40 different countries with The Furrow being published in 12 languages and so began the era of marketing with magazines.
